have you ever tried fried izza

what do you add in yours. i saw how antonio carluccio makes it. what sauce do you add.have you tried that with pita.  question

Fried Pizza .... No I havnt tried it but I have tried Langos in Budapest which I think is possibly similar .
Langos is a deep fried dough that gets then topped with either sweet of savory toppings .
The Langos I tried was brushed over with soured cream then topped with a mild cheese. which I sderstand is the traditional topping
I didnt really like it very much as it was too greesy for me but my lovely husband loved the Langos.

it was a bit much Maree , but my darling thught it was the best thing ever and when we were back in Budapest a few months later he headed off to the market where there are food stalls upstairs so he could eat another !

No , I dont think as Asken , as I remember from the episode the pizza base was deep fried and then it was topped with diferent toppings .

it looked quite different from the panzerotti fritti in the pictures.

Not tried fried pizza but have made Naan bread pizza...great if you need to do a meal in a hurry.
