Roast lamb is a fabulous choice for a roast dinner. Simply marinate the lamb in garlic, rosemary and lemon, roast the potatoes underneath (to catch the lovely juices) and serve with lovely seasonal veg for a winner dinner.

Making (and eating!) your own pasta is a total joy. Based on Jamie’s travels around Italy, this fresh egg pasta recipe can be scaled up or down to suit your needs using the ratio of 1 egg to 100g Tipo ‘00’ flour.

Making flatbreads is really fun – which is why you guys keep searching for this one! Get your family and friends together and get kneading. You can’t beat homemade bread.

A celebration of Mediterranean vegetables, this ratatouille recipe is great as a main with some crusty bread or rice; or as part of a wider spread. And any leftovers will serve you a treat, too.

A reliable principle roast beef recipe that you can mix and match with lovely side dishes of your choice – it’s simple enough to pair with any of your favourite flavours. Sunday lunch, here we come!

Sweet potatoes, peppers and tinned beans are the heroes in this veggie chilli recipe, but feel free to mix it up with whatever you’ve got in the veg drawer. Plus, it’s brilliant for batch cooking and great when frozen for future meals.

Sometimes, the simplest things in life are the best (and the most delicious!), and this crumble is just that. Beautiful apples with a seriously good crumble top. Serve with custard, cream or ice cream. Heaven!

A delicious dish which never fails to be nostalgic. Creamy white sauce spiked with mustard, a mashed potato top, delicate fish… and an egg, if that’s your thing!

Make the most of overripe bananas in this ever-popular bake! A slice of warm banana bread is one of life’s simple pleasures, and even more so when you’ve baked it yourself.

Leek and potato work so well together. Leave it chunky or blend until smooth and velvety; both are perfect expressions of this classic soup. Enjoy as it is, or add toppings of your choice.

And at the other end of the scale, this old-school chicken pie uses homemade buttery pastry, a rich gravy and hearty veggies, all served up with some sweetheart cabbage. Don’t forget the mash!
