The star of winter, a cup of hot chocolate is never a bad idea. And this version of the winter drink has marshmallows in it, too! A few minutes is all you need to enjoy this gorgeous labour of love.

Nothing beats the satisfaction - or taste - of something made from scratch. Next time you want a comforting tea, recreate Jamie’s herbal cuppa with turmeric, orange, honey and thyme. Full of iron and vitamin C, this winter drink recipe is perfect for chilly October mornings.

Traditional Japanese tea traditions have long featured the delicious powdered green tea that is matcha. Part of the joy of the drink comes in the preparation, so spare a minute or two and devour this tasty, winter drink.

If you want to enjoy ice cream during the colder weather but don’t want to risk a sore throat, this walnut-whip affogato is for you. Ice cream and chocolate sauce drowned in a shot of warm espresso — perfection.

Traditional scrumpy gets the winter treatment in this incredible hot spiced cider that will get everyone into the spirit. It would work a treat with apple juice, too, for a non-alcoholic alternative.

Now this is really something special. Simply heat butter, rum, sugar, then strain into glasses and top up with a little hot water. Guaranteed to get everyone feeling jolly.
