This Greek dessert is so lovely after a meal.
Ingredients
25 gr yeast
500 gr flour
1 level tsp salt
Veg oil for fying
Honey
Cinnamon
Method
Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Mix the flour and the salt ina deep bowl and pour yeast & water. Gradually add another cup of water until yu get a nice thick batter. Leave in a warm place to rise about 45minutes. Heat the vegetable oi, hot enough for frying. Take a tbsp and drop balls into the oil. Once golden brown remove on papered plate. Serve drizzled wiht honey and sprinkle cinnamon too

May I enquire whether this is deep fried, or shallow fried?
