no because a towel is one of the most usefull items in the universe. :P I can't beleive no one picked up the Don't Panic reference.

Me too...as I'm back today...despite the protestations.....
and there was me thinking the towel was the "Boxers" towel...as in throwing the towel into the ring....

"Don't panic" I thought was a reference to Dads' Army, the old tv show.
"Throw in the towel" I know, like Wine-O as a reference to surrendering.
"Waving a white flag", similarly.
