Re: how does this look ?
i think it looks really good.
personally i lov ethe jigsaw look. its something i havent seen before on a cooking website, so well done on that.
the only thing id change is perhaps the overall colours. if u want to attract people to the website and catch their eye so that they stay you need vibrant colours... the green is a nice colour but it looks a little dull.
you have gorgeous colours on the jigsaw pieces, id keep the theme of the whole website the same
ive been doing graphic design work on & off for about 5 years, so i know its always hard to gets omething just perfect!
good luck with it though, im sure it will turn out gorgeous!

Re: how does this look ?
I like it, its different and something I wouldnt of thought up myself. I like the cartoon pictures, they work well with the puzzle thing.
I agree with michelles advice about playing with background colours so your eyes are not just drawn to one spot, but its up to you how important that part of it is.

Re: how does this look ?
I really liked it. It's really bright and colourful. Got to admit though, i don't know what a jigsaw has to do with food however it seems to work here. ![]()

Re: how does this look ?
BrianG, I thought the jigsaw was all to do with interloking flavours of foods, or it could be used for combinations that go together....
am I right salty?

Re: how does this look ?
it was more about 'combining ingredients', i look at it as a jigsaw, cooking just does not work if not put together properly
ingredients, tools, timing, flavour balance etc are all part of the jigsaw of cooking.
( cooking as a whole is puzzleing to some people )
