Re: What is your favourite snack?

You all put me to shame. Your snacks are all so healthy sounding....makes me feel guilty!, but not so guilty that I won't enjoy my nachos lol! smile

I missed out on the nacho gene and eat very little dairy.

Celery or carrot sticks and baba ganoush or hummus

I wasn't happy with my baba ganoush this week..

The lemon had taken over so I re-blended with chickpeas.

It's super smooth & very yummy.

Also lower carb.

I use circles of cucumber & carrots as my "crackers".

Just corn chips

Mine is not much different but less fancy. Home made salsa but store bought taco chips (or whatever you call them).

I have been making salsa lately... It's more common to have store bought here.... I found a website called "red salsa, green salsa" that has authentic recipes.  Loving it.

Re: What is your favourite snack?

Oh now I want nachos!! I feel like I've been eating all day though and made choc brownies for a treat when a good friend visits this arv. Better stay strong and not go munch on anything.

Having more visitors tomorrow night so I might make nachos for us all. Frizz, thanks for the tip on the website you use. Must give it a go.

Cheetos and potato chips.

I also have been frequenting this little middle eastern deli that sells the most amazing walnut spread I've ever eaten.  It has tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, garlic, onion, and walnuts and it's chunky in texture.  Excellent for dipping pita chips or carrot sticks!  Heck it's so good I've even mixed it in with pasta and it was awesome!
