The belgians make some good beer.
Hoegaarden is a fav, the grand cru is very nice.
Chimay's are all pretty good and Duvel is excellent, especially if you're playing catch up.
For those with a lager taste I'd recommend Stella, yes Stella Artois! If you can get hold of the stuff brewed in Belgium it's way better than what we have in England, which is brewed in Luton. Not that i have anything against Luton! But any beers brewed under licence are never as good as the real thing.
I like a pint of Guinness every now and then, usually from a pub that sells stacks of the stuff. Catholic social clubs always seem to serve a good pint.
As far as british beers go I'm a fan of Deuchars IPA, Harvest Pale, Greenking IPA, London Pride. In fact there's not a lot a don't like. But as I said The Hoe is a top fav!

In the Uk we have no1 beers all over the country it all depends what area you are from, to what your favourite beer is big_smile


As for U.S beers I think Michelob is nice big_smile

I enjoy a good decent keg bitter.
(I do not like larger type beers.)

I like the odd pint of Guinness,not chilled.

Brains brewrey often do a decent christmas brew.but I can't remember the names!

It has to be said that my dear husband does not realy drink and so my life has become nearly tee-total sad sad eh sad
