If you’re planning your Christmas meal, pick up a copy of the latest issue of Jamie Magazine, which features 18 recipes and a host of great tips from Jamie’s forthcoming Christmas shows. The five TV specials, entitled Jamie’s Family Christmas, aren’t due to be aired on Channel 4 until mid-December, but the magazine has gathered together the recipes from them to give Jamie’s fans a sneak preview.
Naturally, there are brilliant recipes for the big Christmas meal itself – including the World’s Best Turkey, Get-Ahead Gravy and Perfect Roast Potatoes – but there are also a host of wonderful ways in which it can be turned into a feast to remember. Jamie’s Winter Pudding Bombe, a super-stylish cross between an arctic roll and a summer pudding, is a great showpiece dessert, while Clementine Jelly brings a zingy, refreshing end to proceedings. There are great tricks with leftovers, too – chilli con turkey, anyone?
So look out for the new issue of Jamie Magazine, on sale from today, 26 November, in supermarkets and branches of WHSmith, and get into the Christmas spirit.
