summer-jam-new-story

Jamie’s Summer Jam has seen an unprecedented number of entries, and although entries have now closed, Jamie and his editor Jim Tanfield’s pick of the last week was tough as so any entries were of an amazing standard.

However, after much deliberation Jamie and his editor Jim Tanfield have plumped for two very different tracks.

First up is Kimberly Isaac, she’s entered club track Back on You. It’s not what you’d expect from a band comp, which is exactly why we’ve chosen it. It’s a little bit J-Lo and a little bit Rihanna with really good production.

The second pick is from Yeti Love and their high-adrenaline acoustic Blood on Her Hands.  Completely brilliant and right up there with our faves at the moment.

“We want more variety, so if you create your own dance or techno tracks, we want to hear from you just as much as the dudes with guitars,” Jim said.

“These two choices are really different, and sound like they could rock the mainstream, both have the kind of talent we’re looking for so keep those entries coming.”

Jamie’s Summer Jam winners will play at Jamie’s Big Feastival at Alex James’ farm in the Cotswolds on August 31st. Jamie has also promised to personally pass the winning track on to his friends within the music industry.

Enter your original track now. Remember, only unsigned bands can enter.
