What ingredients would the perfect summer festival have? Well it has to start with great music from international superstars. What about some amazing food…really amazing food? Let's not forget loads to keep the littl'uns happy and of course a beautiful venue.
Well lucky you, because Jamie has just announced tickets for his Big Feastival 2012 have gone on sale!
This year it is being hosted together with Alex James at his beautiful Cotswolds farm in Oxfordshire on September 1st and 2nd.
Already announced on the music front is the theatrical thrills of Paloma Faith, big guns of UK indie Razorlight, newly-solo Supergrass superstar Gaz Coombes and the rioutous music and comedy of the Cuban Brothers.
Meanwhile, over in the In the Big Kitchen, some of the UK's best-known chefs will be showcasing their talents in 30-minute master-classes; Jamie and the amazing Mark Hix have already confirmed.
Then there's the Menu, featuring iconic restaurants and bars offering you their best food and drink – guest chefs cooking in their own pop-ups, heaven!
If you want to bring the kids, the Little Dudes Den will keep them entertained, with art, story-telling and loads more (to be announced soon).
All this and camping too. But let's not forget the reason for it all, Jamie's Foundation; the charity which brings together the Fifteen Apprentice Programme, Jamie's Kitchen Garden Project and Ministry of Food – empowering, educating and inspiring people to eat better food.
Find everything you need at the Big Feastival website – ticket prices and early bird offers, camping arrangements and the latest line-up news.
See you there Feastival friends!
