Story by Sarah Stephenson

Two years on from our first restaurant opening in Oxford, we’re proud to be bringing Jamie’s Italian north of the border to one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in Europe – Glasgow. We’ve got ourselves one of Glasgow’s top spots – the old GPO building on George Square – and thanks to the ability of our designers to brilliantly blend classic architecture (there’s a nod to Glasgow’s finest, Charles Rennie Mackintosh) with rustic Italy and a twist of Jamie’s own contemporary style, Jamie’s Italian is really creating a stir.

After just three weeks of advertising the positions available, we received in excess of 1400 applicants all eager to be part of this brand new venture. We have managed to secure a fantastic team of close to 100 people in record time to bring this restaurant to life. We’ve now taken the vacancies off the website due to the unprecedented response to our call for team members. If we have any vacancies in the near future they will go straight on to our current vacancies page so keep your eyes peeled.
