The good people at Yeo Valley Farm treated Jamie and gang to an amazing day's fly fishing on the world famous Blagdon Lake in Somerset.
And guess what? Jamie and his good friend Gennaro Contaldo's boat was one of the most successful with a decent haul of six trout.
Situated next to the beautiful cattle farm and its owner Tim Mead's gorgeous family home, where the legendary dairy produce is created, Blagdon Lake attracts fly fishermen from all over the world – and thanks to photographer and friend David Loftus, we can all see what an amazing day it was.

Fifty anglers on 20 boats went onto the lake to try to land a decent catch and despite it being 'tough' fishing conditions (although with sunshine, a hamper, local cider and good company it was hardly fishing in gale force winds in the North Sea!), Jamie and Gennaro topped the bill.
Jamie said after his afternoon on the boat: “I've had an amazing day and want to thank our good hosts for everything. I can't wait to cook something with my catch!” Keep an eye out for a Blagdon-inspired trout recipe from Jamie on the website soon.
